Get silky hair with........Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Spray

I really mistreat my hair, bleaching, blow drying, straightening, hot curlers etc etc, so my ends can be/are what you may call frazzled. BUT I have been trying to be a good girl and leave my hair to dry naturally and not use my GHD's so much resulting in the au naturel "curly" (No chance) "beach waves" (I wish) "wavy-ish" (getting there) "kinky"   (sort of?)  "oh just do what you want" (more like it)  hair style and tbf I usually wear my hair up for work and the gym anyways.

I'm now on a mission for long luxurious luminous locks and I have been road testing various leave in conditioners, leave in creams and hair masks, but I hadn't tried an oil (argh scary thoughts of adding oil to hair and being left with a greasy mop on top!), but I was excited to receive and test out the Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Spray sent to me from hairtrade.com.

The Macadamia Natural Oil range boasts macadamia oil as well as the saught after Argan oil, both of these natural oils are utilised to rejuvenate the hair and maintain health and shine.

This Healing Oil spray is a really light mist and I apply to my towel dried hair from mid lengths and concentrating on the ends.  I either then blow dry or leave to dry naturally. I've noticed that my hair is less frizzy and feels sooo silky and it really shines.  Its a really gorgeous smelling oil too, sort of coconuty but not really (its a hard one to describe but I bet you can sort of imagine).

Now I did make a boo boo and applied this oil to my towel dried hair before a night out and tried to curl my hair and even through use of the Enrapture Extremity Hot Rollers, my curl didn't stay for more than an hour, so I wouldn't reccommend using this before trying to curl the hair (especially if your hair is like mine and curl resistant at the best of times), but using the oil after styling to smooth the ends and give a healthy shine.

I will continue to use this oil both as a leave in oil and as a shine spray another tip if you have really thick dry unruly hair is to spray your brush, comb, tangle teezer with the oil and brush through the hair giving an even distribution on your hair smoothing out the follicles.

This moisturising miracle retails at around £15, but you can get it for £9.79 HERE!

Have you used this oil or any other hair oil?

My Latest in Beauty.....Feat Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

So I'm always banging on about Latest in Beauty (as you may be well aware!) my latest Little Beauty Box (3 Beauty Samples for £1.50), included the new Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint, Dr Bragi Bio Marine Exfoliant and Sasy n Savy Rose Lavender Hand n Nail Repair Creme.

The Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint was sent in 3 shades, as you can see from above Shade 01 Bare, I would say is a teeny bit darker than say your average "Ivory" foundation shade, the 02 Beige shade is for maybe when you've got fake tan on or on holiday and the 03 Beach shade will never be suited to my skin but looks like its for a really tanned skin or olive skins.  Even though it is called a sheer skin tint, I think it gives a medium coverage and certainly isnt watery or as sheer as other sheer tints or tinted moisturisers I have used before.  It also has SPF 15 which you really cant complain about!

Dr Bragi Bio Marine Exfoliant - I've only tested this on the back of my hand and it is a really fine beaded scrub, with no special aromas to it, it just smells of its basic ingredients but it does the job my hand felt really soft and smooth afterwards.
Sasy n Savy Hand n Nail Repair Creme is a gorgeous botanical aromatherapy smell which I love and was great to apply after I;d sampled the Exfoliant!

I'm sure you'll eventually tire of me saying (if you havn't already that is!?) how great I think these Little Beauty Boxes are from Latest in beauty, I love getting samples sizes for 2 main reasons, you can stock them up and take them on holiday/on a girly weekend or camping trip (leaves more space for shoes!) or it is a great way to test a product before splurging on the full sized product.
I also love the fact that with Latest In Beauty your not tied in and you can pick the samples you get from a list of recommendations.

Have you tried latest in beauty or any of the products from My latest In Beauty??

New Look Sale Haul

I'm not shamed to say most of my clothing purchases were brought home from "The Sale Rack", you just cant beat a good ol' bargain!
New Look have a massive sale on at the moment, I mean most of it has been brought from there yonder and are the dregs of the stock room, BUT if your looking for basics, use your imagination and have some good rummaging skills, then you can snap some good finds...plus you might find the odd gem nestled in there amongst the masses.

The jewellery is sometimes hit and miss but the "ROAM" section of the Jewellery was all HALF PRICE, how could I resist the gorgeous Turquoise and Green gem Gold Statement Necklace for £3.50! It's so versatile and I will wear it dressed up with my rust coloured maxi and also some skinny's and a white tee.
The simple gold chain earrings were a spectacular £1.75 and will look great with my hair up teamed with indigo skinny's, pointed courts and black blazer.
The Grey Diamanté Heart was mine for £2.75, and I will wear stacked with lots of other charcoal rings.
The American Flag Grey jumper was £10 and a I got a bigger size so it would be a loose fit, teamed with black jeans and leather jacket.
The Tapered, Turned up Scuffed jeans were a steal at £12.00 and will look great with converse and a jumper or with pointed courts and a blazer.
The Patterned Pink Loose fit cardi was £6.00 and it a lovely light material great for layering but also to take on holiday for slinging over a bikini or on chilly summer nights.

What do you think of New Look? Have you bagged any bargains recently?
